There is a growing demand for qualified paralegals and trained legal assistants and, according to leading forcasts there is no end in sight. New positions for qualified paralegals will continue to grow, but the key word to focus on here is “ qualified.”

Question” Can online paralegal degree holders really be considered to be “qualified” paraprofessionals? The answer, in my opinion is absolutely YES!  But as with traditional paralegal programs, not all online paralegal degree programs are the same. You’ll need to compare schools, programs and then make a wise decision.

A high quality online paralegal degree program should do more than just offer you the flexibility of studying when and where you wish. It is important that you find a paralegal program that is challenging and replicates the traditional classroom experience. You see, you need to be able to engage in a bit of academic discourse with your professors and peers if you really want to master the law. A good online paralegal degree program will offer student chat rooms where you can work together with your classmates and professors.
