Hi, I’m Peter Loughlin, a “Lifelong Learner” and staunch supporter of distance learning. I’ve developed this blog to help other adult learners cut through the maze of misinformation about online learning and degrees.
I started my journey nearly 30 years ago with Regent’s College (now Excelsior College) but I used nearly every strategy and technique along the way such as “testing out,” transfer credits and more. I later used distance learning to obtain a law degree and become a licenced practitioner.
Over the years I’ve been fortunate to share my experience with others and to help them achieve their career and academic goals. The goal of this distance-learning blog is to share my knowledge with other adult learners and to provide a forum for the exchange of ideas. Basically anything to do with education and distance learning is OK, so feel free to comment or suggest a new category.
I also want you to share with you that I have a few other education related websites. One is http://www.MaxStudy.com, a site designed to provide links to obtain free information about a huge number of online university degree programs in every conceivable field. The other is http://www.LawSchoolBible.com a site promoting my book about distance-learning legal education. I encourage you to take some time a look these sites and hope you’ll find them helpful too.
Thanks,
Peter Loughlin
Lifelong-Learner
